Lister plugins

Lister plugins display special file types in the built-in lister (F3) as well as in the quick view panel (Ctrl+Q).

CSVVIEWER
Use this plugin for display CSV-files (Comma separated columns format).

EML VIEWER
Plugin for viewing email messages in format MSG and EML.

EXCELLENCE
Displays text and numbers from spreadsheet XLS files created by Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Calc and similar programs.

FILEINFO
Displays Version Information, Header Information and Symbol for programs, DLLs and other executable files.

LINKINFO
This is a combined project consisting of 2 parts, Lister plugin for viewing and editing LNK files from TC, and a program for modifying LNK files.

FLASHVIEW
Lister plugin for Total Commander to view Flash files (SWF).

ICLVIEW
Show icons in files. Extract one or all icons. Supported extensions: ICO, ICL, EXE, DLL, SCR, OCX, BPL, WLX, WFX, WCX, WDX, CPL, ACM.

IMAGINE
View and save image/animation files with very fast speed. Support for numerous image/animation file formats: GIF, BMP, PNG, JPG, TIF, TGA, PCX, ICO, ANI, FLI, and many more...

INIED
Plugin for viewing and editing settings files: INI, INF, REG.

LISTDOC
Plugin to open WinWord files without any formatting and objects.

MMEDIA
Can play all media file "Windows Media Player" may recognize (add the extension in the "mmedia.ini" file).

NFO VIEWER
Plugin for viewing NFO files.

OFFICE 2007
Allows to view Microsoft Office 2007 files (DOCX, PPSX, PPTX, XLSX) as plain text in lister window.

PDFVIEW
Basic lister plugin to display pdf-files (portable document format), ps-files (postscript) and eps-files (encapsulated postscript) using the Ghostscript postscript and pdf interpreter.

SCRLIST
Allows viewing screen savers (files with the extension SCR).

TCCALENDAR
Universal calendar. Allows to use common and personal dates with different their categories and possibility to limit displaying.

TCTORRENT
Torrent wlx/wdx plugin for retreiving and viewing almost all available info

TTFVIEWER
This plugin may be used for viewing TTF-files (TrueType Font) and OTF-files (OpenType Fonts).

URL SHORTCUT VIEWER
Plugin uses the Internet Explorer browser component to display the website of URL files (Internet shortcuts) in the lister window of Total Commander.

VISUALDIRSIZE
VisualDirSize provides a graphical overview of the files/folders in a selected directory. You can view a chart by putting the cursor on any directory and pressing Ctrl+Q.

Packer plugins

Usage of packer plugins: select files you want to pack and press ALT+F5.
These plugins are used to unpack specific file types, usually archive formats. Some packer plugins also support the creation of new archives of the supported type, and to modify existing archives. Examples are a plugin to pack/unpack 7zip archives, or a plugin to create a list of files in the selected directories.

Files which are not in archive formats (for example: *.avi, *.chm, *.dbx, *.gif, *.icl, *.iso...) you can open with Ctrl+PgDn.

7ZIP
The 7zip extractor plugin provides 7zip archive support.

AVIWCX
Create AVI video files (from *.bmp, *.jpg, *.gif, *.png, *.pcx, *.tif), open AVI files with Ctrl+PgDn and extract frames and the sound.

BLAT MAILER
A simple plugin to easily send email with attachments using the simple mail transfer protocol (SMTP). No other mail client is required.

CHMDIR
CHMDir adds support of ITSS/CHM file format (compiled HTML) to Total Commander, allows you to extract, search, pack, delete files in CHM.

DISKDIR EXTENDED
Creates a list file with all selected files and directories, including subdirs, also lists contents of archive files. Useful to create catalogs of whole disks or folders...

DBXPLUG
Extract mails and attachments from Outlook Express DBX databases.

GIFWCX
Plugin to handle animated gif files: extract, delete frames of animated gif files, append images to existing gif files, or create a whole animated gif file of existing images (can be *.bmp, *.jpg, *.gif, *.png).

ICLREAD
Allow work with ICL files (icon lib's) as archive files. Supports extract/add/delete icons from/in ICL files and creating new ICL from icons.

IMAGINATOR
Advanced floppy image (diskimage, rawread etc.) plugin: create IMG (different sizes, use "Configure" button to choose), extract, add and delete files. Long filename support.

ISO READ
Plugin for Total Commander reads CD-ROM images.

MSI
Supports extracting from MSI (Microsoft Installer files).

File system plugins

File system plugins are used via the Network Neighborhood. They usually access a certain part of your PC which cannot be accessed via drive letters, or some remote system.
Configuration: select plugin you want to configure and press Alt+Enter.

DEVICE MANAGER
Displays absolute all devices installed in system. Displays device properties dialogue by pressing ENTER, creates a set of drivers for already installed devices (F5), deletes devices (F8), calls Device Problem Wizard by pressing Alt+Enter, displays a brief information on the device (F3).

FSCLIPBOARD
Browses clipboard data as files. Useful (for example) for making screenshots.

MSIE CACHE BROWSER
Allows to browse Microsoft Internet Explorer cache ("Temporary Internet Files" folder contents).

NSCOPY
Copy unreadable files from any media, using program Non-Stop Copy. Unreadable positions fills with zeros.

POP3PLUGIN
Access your POP3 mailbox, download and upload (send) mails as text files (in EML format) or delete huge unwanted mails from the server directly.

REGISTRY
System registry editor for Total Commander.

SERVICES
List of services registered in the system. Enhanced control state of service function. Deleting of services from the system. Editing of the services properties.

STARTUPGUARD
This plugin shows files executed on Windows startup.

TCBURNER
Audio/Data/Video CD/DVD burning plugin.

TOTALCONSOLE_TC75
File system plugin for Windows console in Total Commander panel. Works with Total Commander 7.50.

UNINSTALLER
Enhanced plugin for uninstalling different software. The same as Control Panel - "Add\Remove program", but more powerful and convenient.

WIPE PLUGIN
File destroyer (secure erase) plugin. Wipes files according to Department of Defense standard DOD 5220.22-M.

Content plugins

A content plugin provides additional information and properties for files and directories. For usage, press Shift+F1.

Modifying and setup:
Open the configuration dialog by clicking "Configuration/Options" in the main menu.
Navigate to the page "Custom columns".
Click the "New" button to create a new custom columns view, or choose existing custom columns view and click "Edit".
You can setup the number of columns and its contents in this dialog. Click the "Add column" button. A new row with properties is displayed. This row represents the new column's attributes.
The next step is to define the new column's contents. Click the "+" button to assign a field to the column. Fore more details on this see the readme file for specific plugin.
The property "Title" displays the text which will be displayed in the column header. The title can be changed at will.
Enable horizontal scrollbar.
Click OK to close the dialog "Custom columns".
Click OK to close the configuration dialog.

DIRSIZECALC
This content plug-in provides several numeric calculation for directory contents.

EXIF
Show camera data like aperture and exposure time from JPG and Canon RAW image files.

WDX_MEDIA
Shows information about multimedia files.

WDX FOR IMAGES
Shows information about BMP, GIF, JPEG, PCX, PNG, PSD, TIFF image files.

Tools

Few small but useful tools... You can find them in extended menu "Plugins".

Clear History TC
This program allows you to delete history from file Wincmd.ini and Wcx_ftp.ini.

TC Log Viewer
TC Log Viewer opens Total Commander logging file and show its contents in dropdown list (shows all dates in the log file), source panel (shows all file operations happened within the selected date) and target panel (shows the target path for operations like Copy, Move, Unpack etc...)

Tinny TC Restarter
This program allows you to restart Total Commander in single click.

Google like Quicksearch
Search-plugin for advanced use of the Quick Search Filter. It allows use of substring search, regular expressions, similarity search and also supports the Chinese PinYin. Please read the included PDF.

Supports all popular database formats and all typical database operations, including database viewing, printing, searching, querying, import and export, including conversion to a different database format.
